Kring Point State Park, located 5 miles downstream from Alexandria Bay, is the best location from which to start you adventure in the Thousand Islands. Even if you have never been to Kring Point you should still check out these pictures. Kring Point, and the views from it, are a great representation of what you would see in the Islands.

The Canadian Channel is one of the most famous sections of the Thousand Islands and the St. Lawrence River. This is the section of the river that holder Sugglers Cove, Fiddlers Elbow, and The Lost Channel. Check out these picture to see the beauty and mystique of this region.

The Rift is a section of the St. Lawrence River that flows between an American island and a Canadian island. The narow part of the channel is about 60 feet wide. These picture take you through the rift, under the international bridges dividing the US and Canada, through the Blacksnack passage and into the Lake of the Isles.
